Helen McGrath is an associate in the financial regulation group at Slaughter and May in London. Her practice incorporates advisory, transactional and contentious work for a broad range of financial institutions. During her time at Slaughter and May, Mrs McGrath has advised on the supervision and regulation of investment firms, banks, insurance companies and lenders. Her practice has recently involved advising on the UK implementation of the Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive, as well as providing advice to regulated payment service providers on their ongoing obligations and the impact of upcoming reforms. Mrs McGrath graduated with a master’s degree in natural sciences (physics) from the University of Cambridge in 2009, and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2013.
