Grégoire Jakhian heads up Loyens & Loeff’s corporate and M&A practice in Belgium.

He has extensive experience in cross-border M&A transactions and disputes, takeover bids, corporate finance, arbitration and civil law. He has built up a solid reputation for expertise in the financial, energy (including mining law), manufacturing and airline sectors.

His clients, mostly from the United States, the EU and Belgium, include listed and non-listed companies, PE funds and midsize companies.

Grégoire is a regular conference speaker on corporate and financial law as well as aircraft finance. He is assistant professor at the Université libre de Bruxelles on corporate and financial law.

He is registered at the Brussels Bar and the New York Bar. He is a prominent and active member of the American Bar Association and of the International Bar Association.

Grégoire holds an LLM degree from the New York University School of Law (United States, 1987) and a law degree from the Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium, 1986).
