Sergey Yuryev is a partner at CMS, Russia, and heads the dispute resolution practice. He has worked at the firm since 2000. Before joining CMS, he worked at an American law firm in its Moscow and Baku offices, as well as in the United States.

Mr Yuryev has over 20 years of experience advising clients in the following practice areas: dispute resolution, arbitration and ADR, bankruptcy and restructuring and white‑collar crime. Leading CMS, Russia’s dispute resolution practice, he and his team handle all manner of disputes in Russia.

Mr Yuryev holds a Master of Laws degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (1995), and an LLM from the Southern Methodist University School of Law of Dallas, Texas (1997). He has been a member of the New York Bar (United States) since 1998 and has been qualified to practise law in Russia since 1995. Mr Yuryev is fluent in English.
