Bart Lintermans is a partner in the M&A and litigation boutique law firm Quinz. He specialises in M&A, insolvency law and real estate.

In the framework of the liquidation of Holding Communal SA/Gemeentelijke Holding NV, where Quinz is appointed as co-liquidator, he leads the Quinz M&A team, tasked with realising the estimated €800 million worth of assets. He has also been appointed as director of Brussels South Charleroi Airport, Belgium’s second largest commercial airport. During his career, Bart has worked for Belgian and Japanese multinationals both in Belgium and in Japan, and is therefore familiar with the needs of business and the way in-house legal departments operate. The Legal 500 (2014 edition) refers to him as ‘a real deal-maker’, while Chambers (2014 edition) recommends him as a ‘skilled and pragmatic lawyer’.

He studied law at the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) (cum laude), Duke University and New York University School of Law (LLM in trade regulation; BAEF Fellow – Engelberg Center Fellow), and he is licensed to practise in Brussels and New York.
