Carolyn M Dellatore is an associate in the labour and employment law department and a member of the employment law counselling and training group, resident in the Newark office. Her practice focuses on the representation and counseling of employers in all areas of employment and labor relations.

As a part of her litigation practice, Carolyn represents employers in a wide variety of employment-related disputes, including discrimination, wrongful termination and retaliation lawsuits brought in state and federal courts and administrative charges filed with the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and analogous state agencies. She also has experience litigating the enforceability of restrictive covenants.

Carolyn has extensive experience conducting wage and hour audits and investigations, as well as counseling and defending against federal and state wage and hour and misclassification claims, including class and collective actions and federal and state investigations, audits and proceedings. She also regularly drafts and counsels clients on employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, and separation agreements.
