Cara Pronk received her law degree from Maastricht University in 2005. She is a labor and employment attorney with Van Doorne, based in Amsterdam, where she specializes in employment law with a focus on cross-border and European employment law, workers participation, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions (including TUPE) and outsourcing. Ms Pronk has several publications and book contributions in her name. She has written and spoken on international employment law issues such as outsourcing transactions and international private law cases. She is co-editor of the Explanatory Notes on the International Employment Law in the annual publication of SDU Commentary Employment Law and an annotator on European and Private International Law for the monthly TAP Labor Law Magazine. She is a member of the Employment and Industrial Relations Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA) and the regular Dutch employment law associations.
