Mark is an associate in the litigation and insolvency department of Harneys’ BVI office. He joined Harneys in 2015 from Thomas More Chambers, chambers of Geoffrey Cox QC, London, where he practised as an independent barrister, principally in the areas of insolvency, company, commercial, and property law. Mark has appeared in a range of tribunals from the First Tier Tribunal to the Court of Appeal, Civil and Criminal Divisions, both as a junior and in his own right. 

In 2014, Mark spent several months working with offshore clients in Mauritius, providing advisory and litigation services for Thomas More International. During that time he acted for international clients in Mauritian insolvency proceedings, advised an investment fund on the acquisition of assets worth over US$1 billion in a number of African states, and provided advice and drafting services in relation to a complex funding structure for a US$120 million construction project in Equatorial Guinea.

Mark is a member of COMBAR and the Chancery Bar Association and is a scholar of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.
