Héctor Hernández has been an associate at Carey since 2014. He is active in all fields of corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate restructurings, capital markets, corporate governance and general commercial advice.
Mr Hernández represents Chilean and international companies in connection with various cross-border transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions, tender offers, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures and bank financings.
Héctor received his law degree in 2013 from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where he also obtained a degree in negotiation and coaching. He was admitted to the Chilean Bar in 2014. During his undergraduate studies, he spent two years working in the Negotiation Centre of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and has also worked as a teaching assistant in matters related to international public law, criminal law, administrative law and corporate law.
