Giuseppe De Falco has been a partner in the Rome office of Ughi e Nunziante since 2001. He has considerable experience in the banking and financial sector, particularly in real estate structured financing and in derivative instruments. He has also gained extensive experience in capital markets transactions, securities law and in commercial and company law, and assists clients in related litigation, including bankruptcy proceedings.

After obtaining his degree in law cum laude from the University of Naples Federico II in 1989, he specialised in commercial law at the same university (1991). He also has an LLM in banking and financial law from the LSE (1998). Giuseppe passed the Bar exam in 1993 and was admitted to practise before the Court of Cassation in 2010. He is one of the arbitrators listed in the Arbitration Chamber of the National Anti-Corruption Authority.

Giuseppe teaches at the international business law master’s degree course organised by the Sapienza University of Rome. He has also lectured on financial contracts for some years at the master’s degree programme in business law, ‘Master Diritto e Impresa’, at ‘Il Sole24Ore’ in Rome. He frequently speaks at international seminars and conferences and has published several articles in specialised legal journals. Giuseppe is also a member of several international lawyers’ associations, such as the International Bar Association (IBA), the Italian LSE Alumni Association, the European Society for Banking and Financial Law (AEDBF), and the International Association of Lawyers (UIA).
