Oscar Campero is a graduate of Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where he obtained his degree in Economics, subsequently, he obtained an Executive Master degree in Business and Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and of Institituo Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.

Throughout his career, Mr. Campero has taken several taxation, transfer pricing and valuation courses, particularly at ITAM, the Council for International Tax Education and the Financial Analyst Mexican Society.

He is an active member of the Transfer Pricing Commission of Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos and has collaborated in several articles on transfer pricing matters, published by different institutions.

Mr. Campero’s professional practice began in 1995 in the special projects department of Acer Computer Mexico, afterwards, in 1998 he joined Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa y Cia, S.C., were he was promoted to associate on January 1st, 2002 and was promoted to partner on January 1st, 2009. With more than 18 years of experience in transfer pricing Mr. Campero has advised clients in countless affairs, including compliance, strategic tax planning, audit procedures, as well as the negotiation and implementation of advanced pricing agreements with tax authorities
