Prudence Smith is a partner in Jones Day’s Sydney office. Prudence is a highly experienced competition law practitioner who advises clients on a full range of competition regulatory law issues. Prudence’s background includes more than 14 years at the Australian competition regulator (the ACCC), much of the time as a senior ACCC internal lawyer. She has extensive experience in merger clearance, cartel and anticompetitive conduct investigations and litigation, ACCC immunities, authorisations and notifications of contracts affecting competition.
