Michelle Gyves is an associate in the employment law department and a member of the international labour and employment group at Proskauer Rose.
Ms Gyves provides strategic advice and counselling to domestic and multinational employers on a wide range of employment law and human resources matters, including hiring and termination, compensation and benefits, and global mobility. She has assisted clients with multi-country audits of employment laws and practices, ensuring their compliance in a wide range of areas, including data privacy, disability and leave laws, and working time regulations. Ms Gyves also advises employers with regard to labour and employment issues and conducts human resources due diligence in connection with both domestic and cross-border corporate merger and acquisition transactions.
Ms Gyves received a JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and a BA with highest distinction in political science and economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms Gyves is admitted to practise in New York. She is a member of the international law section of the American Bar Association, where she sits on the international employment committee.
