Carlos is a partner in the firm’s financial practice area. He specialises in M&A, project finance, capital markets, corporate finance and general corporate advisory services. He earned his bachelor’s degree and law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú Law School in 2002, and obtained a master’s degree in corporate law from the New York University in 2013. He also obtained a master’s degree in finance and corporate law from ESAN University in 2010. In the academic field, he has been a professor on securities markets and structures of corporate agreements LLM courses for both the University of Lima and for ESAN University. Carlos has authored several articles published in specialised journals at a local and international level.

Prior to joining Rubio Leguía Norman, Carlos worked for New York-based law firms such as Sidley Austin, DLA Piper and Clifford Chance.
