Catarina Pinto Correia has a law degree from the faculty of law of the Catholic University of Portugal, Lisbon and a master’s degree in European community law from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. She has a postgraduate degree in EC competition law from King’s College London and a postgraduate degree in public procurement and concessions from the University of Lisbon faculty of law.

She joined VdA in 1996 and is a partner in the public law practice. In this capacity, she has been involved in several matters of administrative law (general and specific), including in the areas of public procurement, administrative concessions, public–private partnerships and public regulation. She has participated in several transactions, both in Portugal and abroad. Catarina is the author of various articles and publications on matters within her fields of expertise and is admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
