Andreas Krensel joined IBN Immigration Solutions in July 2002 after relocating from Germany to South Africa. His career began with an apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank, where he mainly focused on asset and portfolio management. This was followed by his law studies in Trier (Germany) as well as in Antwerp (Belgium). In April 2002, he qualified as an attorney in Dortmund (Germany). He obtained his Master of Laws degree at the University of Cape Town in 2004, specialising in international trade law. He is a registered immigration practitioner (SA).

In January 2005, Andreas Krensel was appointed to the board of directors at IBN Immigration Solutions. Since 2011, he has been the managing director and sole owner of IBN.

Andreas Krensel is the author of two books, namely The Corporate Immigration Guide for Africa and Investitionsziel Südafrika. In addition, Andreas has published several articles with legal and commercial focus in local newspapers and international magazines. He is an accomplished speaker and a regular contributor to national and international immigration conferences.
