Manuel de Abreu Castelo Branco is a managing associate in the dispute resolution practice of Linklaters’ Lisbon office. His practice has focused on litigation and arbitration, particularly banking, civil, corporate and criminal litigation.
His practice also covers corporate restructuring processes and regulatory investigations, covering compliance, fraud and anti-corruption, which includes advising both national and international clients in internal investigations and white-collar defence.
Manuel is a member of the Corporate Responsibility and Anti-Corruption Commission of the ICC Portugal and the Portuguese Association of Criminal Lawyers (Forum Penal). He is also a regular speaker and participant in various conferences and seminars on litigation and arbitration.
Manuel has concluded his post-graduate studies in arbitration from the Law School of the Nova University of Lisbon and in economical criminal law at the Law School of Coimbra University.
