Benedetta Volpi has been an associate at BonelliErede since 2014 and from 2015 is resident at the London office of the firm. She practises banking and financial regulation with a special focus on regulatory matters involved in M&A and capital market transactions. She regularly assists Italian and foreign banks and financial intermediaries in the relevant legal issues concerning investment services and products (including derivatives and the relevant documentation).

Benedetta graduated magna cum laude from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan in 2010 and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2016.

She assisted Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena with regulatory matters concerning the deconsolidation of the bank’s Npl portfolio and the consequent capital increase and liability management exercise. She is currently assisting Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena with regulatory matters concerning the precautionary recapitalisation of the bank.
