Jason Geisker is a principal at Australia’s leading class actions law firm, Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. He is also the principal legal adviser to Claims Funding Australia Pty Ltd, the litigation funding arm of Maurice Blackburn. Jason is a recognised class action litigator throughout Australia with more than 13 years of high-profile class action litigation and 25 years of civil and commercial litigation experience. Since joining Maurice Blackburn in 2003, he has acted on a number of significant class actions and complex commercial claims including the Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda diesel emission class actions, various shareholder class actions against the Australian Wheat Board; Nufarm; Gunns; and Tamaya Resources, as well as the City Pacific Mortgage Fund collapse litigation. He is one of the select few class action lawyers recommended by Doyle’s 2018 Guide in the field of commercial litigation and dispute resolution in NSW.
For over 20 years Jason has also actively worked on various legal and policy reforms including access to justice issues and civil procedure.
