Paul Kwan is a very experienced litigator, with a wide range of experience. He regularly handles employment matters (both contentious and non-contentious), including matters relating to enforcement of restrictive covenants, discrimination, disciplinary proceedings, redundancy and termination. His areas of practice also include disputes relating to property, building management, landlord and tenant, land resumption, probate, trust and family estates, and he also handles a wide range of commercial litigation, including shareholder disputes, company insolvency and winding up, contractual disputes, and debt recovery and asset tracing.

Paul is the co-author of various legal publications, including: Company Secretarial Manual; Hong Kong Employment Law – A Comprehensive Guide; Employment Termination Report; Guide to Hong Kong Law (first to fourth editions); The Hong Kong Encyclopedia of Forms and Precedents (‘Business Organisations: Partnership’); The New Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) Volume II: Company Financing – Equity & Debt; and The New Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) Volume IV: Directors, Company Secretaries & Shareholder Remedies. He is the sole author of the legal publications Hong Kong Corporate Law (2006, hardback) and Hong Kong Corporate Law (2010 to present, loose-leaf).
