Mr Miller is dedicated to providing the firm’s maritime and energy clients with comprehensive and reliable legal support. He has assisted them in a wide range of matters, including maritime personal injury, cargo claims, maritime contracts and commercial transactions.

Prior to attending law school, Mr Miller was a commissioned officer in the United States Navy. As a surface warfare officer, he spent much of his time at sea during the course of three deployments to the Arabian Gulf. These deployments included anti-piracy missions in densely transited Traffic Separation Schemes to ensure the safety and security of merchant vessels on the high seas. He received the navy’s highest qualifications in ship handling and surface warfare tactics.

Mr Miller graduated magna cum laude from The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law in Washington, DC. While in law school, his work on environmental regulations under the Clean Air Act was published in the Journal of Law and Technology. He received his bachelor of arts degree cum laude from Willamette University and the politics department’s Outstanding Senior award.
