Wole is an UK qualified shipping lawyer. He practised with city firms in London for several years before moving to HFW Singapore in 2010, where he has since continued to develop his contentious practice spanning Europe, West Africa and South East Asia.
Wole is first and foremost an international arbitration practitioner advising primarily on contentious shipping, energy and offshore matters as well as international trade (particularly coal) and joint ventures. The shipping aspect of Wole’s practice encompasses disputes arising under bills of lading, charter parties, contracts of affreightment, pool agreements and shipbuilding contracts. Wole spent four months on secondment to an international group P&I club in Singapore, where he was tasked with handling cargo claims, piracy issues, and vessel collision and salvage matters.
