Teresa Novo Faria is an associate in the banking and projects group in the Lisbon office. Her professional practice focuses on domestic and international structured finance transactions (including acquisitions, syndicated and real estate finance) and project finance (mainly energy and infrastructure projects), representing both financial institutions and companies. Her professional experience also includes regulatory advice and legal assistance in the context of recovery and resolution of credit institutions and within portfolio acquisitions and disposals.

Mrs Faria has a master’s degree in civil law from the Lisbon University School of Law, with a thesis on enforcement of security, and has completed her postgraduate studies in banking law from the same university, where she is currently a teaching assistant.
