She advises both companies and regulators on telecommunication, data protection and payment systems regulatory matters, as well as commercial contracts across a number of sectors.
Racheal's experience includes advising governments in the region on the regulation of new technologies and services and multi-national companies on data protection regulations in the UAE and Europe. Her commercial contract experience includes IT & business process outsourcing, software licensing and various digital marketing agreements. Racheal more generally advises on the data privacy risks and opportunities in various commercial ventures. In particular, Racheal has advised governments on how to regulate connectivity on board aircraft, including how to manage harmful interference, as well as how to regulate new satellite services. She has also drafted various GDPR compliant data protection agreements and advised aviation companies on the contractual documents for the outsourcing of critical parts of their IT infrastructure and advised them on post-contractual matters.
