Vincent Agulhon is a partner with the French law firm Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier AARPI, heading its tax practice since 2013. He was previously with the French office of a major US law firm, coordinating its European tax practice. He graduated from the French leading business school, Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, in 1991 and holds a postgraduate degree in international taxation from the Paris XI University (1991). Vincent is a board member of the French Tax Lawyer’s Institute (general business and real estate sections) and of the scientific committee of the French branch of the International Fiscal Association. His practice focuses on the tax treatment of M&A transactions (including LBOs) with a particular focus on listed companies and cross-border transactions, group reorganisations and inbound real estate investments. He frequently advises clients of the firm in tax audits and disputes, and more generally in their relationship with the tax authorities, notably to seek tax rulings. Vincent is teaching tax reorganisation and real estate tax at various French universities and speaks at numerous seminars, including for the IBA and IFA.
