Charis is a senior associate at the firm’s dispute resolution department. He represents and advises clients in all aspects relating to corporate and commercial litigation, and has considerable experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring, banking litigation and real estate litigation. He regularly advises clients in relation to the appointment and duties of receivers/managers on the basis of fixed charges and extrajudicial enforcement of securities such as pledges and mortgages. Recently, he advised a privately-owned hedge fund on the legislation on foreclosure, the procedure for the resolution of non-performing loans and the liquidation of assets by receivers appointed on the basis of a charge and liquidators in the context of winding-up.
