Stefano Grilli is Co-head of the Tax department.

He focuses on the tax aspects of debt capital market and equity capital market transactions (IPOs, asset finance transactions, structured finance products and derivatives). He advises domestic and cross-border industrial groups in corporate taxation, mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, transfer pricing issues and indirect taxes. He also gained an extensive experience in relation to tax litigation issues.
Before joining the Firm in 2011, Stefano worked in a leading Italian tax law firm.
Stefano obtained his Ph.D. on International and European Tax Law from the University of Bergamo; he also obtained a Master degree (Adv. LL.M.) in International Taxation from the International Tax Centre - Leiden University (Netherlands) where he currently teaches European Union tax law and double tax treaty law; he graduated in Economics from the University “Luigi Bocconi” of Milan.
He was admitted to the Association of Chartered Accountant (Ordine dei dottori commercialisti) and to the Association of Certified Auditor (Albo dei Revisori Contabili) in 1997.
He speaks Italian, English and French.
