Alizeh works on various contentious matters at the firm and prepares pleadings, conducts research, develops strategies, and regularly appears in suits, petitions and arbitrations for declarations, injunctions, recovery, damages and summary procedures on behalf of local and foreign entities in courts across Pakistan. Alizeh has successfully defended petitions for federal and provincial governmental bodies and has assisted the federal government in upholding legislation regulating, among other things, drugs, cosmetics and food supplements, the pricing of medicine, plant protection, standards and quality control, regulatory duty, gas infrastructure cess and allocation of gas, which have been challenged on constitutional grounds.

Alizeh also advises extensively on corporate and other civil and commercial matters and transactions, both domestic and trans-border, contentious and non-contentious, including in particular mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, banking and finance, foreign exchange, debt and equity financing, tobacco and drugs, anti-corruption, labour and securities and competition laws, as well as general regulatory and compliance advice.
