Amar Narula is a partner in the projects, energy and infrastructure team at Trilegal, where he conducts a mix of projects and construction work. He acts internationally for employers, governments, sponsors and lenders across a wide range of technically complex construction sectors, including energy, infrastructure, rail, metro, waste, water and agricultural storage. Through advising on several power projects, he has gained significant experience in all aspects of renewable energy projects (wind, solar and solar rooftop), including renewable M&A, PPAs, EPCs, and O&M contracts and regulatory issues.
Amar’s contract experience encompasses FIDIC, JCT, bespoke EPC/EPCM and PPP contracts. He is frequently appointed to advise on high-value and complex projects, including advising the IFC and the government of Madhya Pradesh on the conceptualisation and tender for a 1,500MW solar park in Madhya Pradesh.
Amar holds an MSc in construction law and dispute resolution from Kings College London, the longest-established programme in the field of construction law.
