Amita Gupta Katragadda has a varied skill set and a strong track record in corporate M&A, disputes and governance. She has been the lead legal counsel on several complex and ground-breaking commercial M&A transactions. She also has significant experience in nuanced commercial litigation with a special focus on shareholder disputes. Amita has a keen understanding of governance issues from a business and legal perspective, and regularly advises listed companies on corporate governance matters, including advising on the most high-profile governance conflicts in India. She is an integral part of the Firm’s Corporate Governance Centre and our Policy Practice.
Amita is a lawyer qualified to practise in India and holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. She was listed in the prestigious “40 Under Forty India’s Hottest Business Leaders 2019” by the Economic Times.
