André Zonaro Giacchetta acts in litigation and in an advisory capacity on technology industry matters, with recognised expertise in privacy, data protection and civil liability issues involving internet platforms. He represents clients in public hearings and leading-case proceedings before the Federal Supreme Court with regard to relevant technology and related matters, as well as before regulatory bodies and the Public Prosecutor’s Office. In more than 20 years of practice, he has garnered extensive experience in serving large domestic and international technology companies, which has given him a broad and multidisciplinary understanding of this sector.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of São Paulo (1996), a specialisation degree in civil procedure law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2002) and a master’s degree in commercial law from the University of São Paulo (2007). He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
