Angelica Navarro is a lawyer and graduate of the Pontifical Xavierian University of Bogotá, with a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
She served as an adviser to the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce on antitrust matters and merger control. Prior to that, she was an adviser to the director of the National Protection Unit, where she was in charge of formulating and executing the protection aspects of human rights programmes.
Angelica has developed her professional experience in the private and public sector on issues related to competition law, compliance, consumer protection, administrative law, constitutional law, public and private procurement and commercial law. She has advised the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce and participated in significant decisions concerning cartels and has also provided merger control advice to international companies in several merger transactions, as well as consumer protection and data privacy advice to local and international companies.
