Calum Mulderrig is a barrister at 3 Verulam Buildings in London. His practice focuses on commercial and investment treaty arbitration, commercial, banking, cryptoasset and civil fraud litigation, and disputes involving complex private international law issues. In the field of investment arbitration, Mr Mulderrig has acted in disputes before ICSID and the Permanent Court of Arbitration on behalf of both states and investors, and has broad experience in acting in commercial and investment arbitrations under a variety of institutional rules, including LCIA, ICC, SIAC and UNCITRAL Rules. Mr Mulderrig regularly appears in the English courts and in the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre.
Prior to transferring to the Bar, Mr Mulderrig trained as a solicitor in London and Dubai with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and practised as a solicitor in London with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan UK LLP, working on an array of litigation and international arbitration matters.
