Carolina Gómez specialises in advising Spanish family-business, and national and international foreign international groups, particularly on planning real estate acquisitions in Spain, restructuring real estate groups and financing transactions on tax matters. Her practice also includes dealing with Spanish tax audit procedures.
She is a member of the firm’s real estate and construction group. Ms Gómez has exhaustive knowledge of indirect taxation, particularly real estate taxation including VAT, transfer tax and stamp duty, and international taxation.
Ms Gómez has actively participated in several real estate acquisition and restructuring transactions.
She lectures in the master’s programme in legal and tax planning and consultancy at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
