Catrina Lam is ranked as a Tier 1 leading junior in competition in The Legal 500. She advised and appeared in many of the first landmark cases in Hong Kong on competition law, including Competition Commission v. Nutanix Hong Kong Ltd & Ors, Competition Commission v. Quantr Ltd & Ors and Taching Petroleum Company Limited v. Meyer Aluminium Limited.
She is currently the chair of the Hong Kong Bar Association’s Committee on Competition Law and was a non-governmental adviser to the International Competition Network from 2018 to 2021. She is the founder and vice-chair of the Hong Kong Chapter of the International League of Competition Law (LIDC), and was recently elected as one of the vice presidents to the LIDC Bureau for 2022/2023. She was appointed to the Competition Commission’s Panel of External Counsel in January 2016. Catrina holds a Master of Arts degree in EU competition law and a postgraduate diploma in economics for competition law from King’s College London.
