Charles-Emmanuel Prieur has spent his entire professional career at UGGC Avocats and became a partner in 2006. He was appointed managing partner of the firm in 2011. He enjoys working on M&A and private equity cases because it allows him to work with entrepreneurs. In an external growth operation of a large group or in a fundraising of a start-up, there is always the discovery of a new business and an original business project. His job is then to show that company law offers all the necessary tools to enable the entrepreneur to carry out his particular project.
Charles-Emmanuel advises industrial and commercial operators in their external growth operations and asset acquisitions. He acts on behalf of investment funds or managers in the context of venture capital, private equity or LBO transactions. Charles-Emmanuel also advises his clients on internal corporate law structuring (regulatory, governance, management packages) and defends them in litigation or arbitration related to equity and financing transactions.
Finally he has been particularly involved in the following sectors of activity: new technologies, life sciences (health and biotechnology), defence activities, real estate and financial services.
