Chengkai Wang is a partner in the corporate group and the dispute resolution practice group at Dentons’ Taipei office. He focuses his practices on corporate, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and technology, venture technology and energy arbitration.
Chengkai has counselled and litigated on behalf of clients in the banking, pharmaceutical and energy industries. He has provided legal consultation to multinational clients mainly on assets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, reorganisation and transfer of business in Taiwan.
Chengkai is admitted to practise law in Taiwan and New York State. He is a member of the Taipei Bar Association and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is a PhD candidate at China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing. He holds an LLM from Columbia Law School in New York, and both an LLM and dual bachelor degrees in law (LLB) and economics (BA) from National Taiwan University.
Chengkai is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese and fluent in English and Taiwanese.
