Christopher Ashen is a lawyer in Gilbert + Tobin’s restructuring and insolvency group. Mr Ashen specialises in front-end restructuring and insolvency, as well as complex insolvency litigation in various Australian jurisdictions. He has experience advising banks, special situations groups, insolvency practitioners, creditors and debtors on restructuring, insolvency and litigation in a range of industries including financial services, mining, mining services, property, construction and agriculture.
Mr Ashen is a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA). Recently, he has worked on a number of prominent restructuring and insolvency matters in the Australian market including Greensill Captial, Sargon Capital, Acquire Learning and Adaman Resources.
