Daniele Favalli is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Team of VISCHER. He represents Swiss domestic and international clients in commercial disputes before Swiss and international courts and arbitral tribunals (Swiss Rules, ICC, AAA, etc.); he also serves as arbitrator in arbitration proceedings. Moreover, he regularly represents insurance companies and its insured in general insurance matters, court proceedings, and on issues of coverage. Specifically, he advises insurance companies with respect to general procedural and organizational issues of legal proceedings abroad, in particular, with respect to proceedings in the U.S., Italy, and Latin America. Daniele has extensive experience of working with clients from the United States and Latin America, having worked as a practitioner in these regions. In addition to German and English, Daniele’s working languages are Italian, Spanish, and French. A founding member and a member of the Academic Council of the Swiss Arbitration Academy, Daniele has a teaching assignment as head coach of the VIS Moot Team of the University of Lucerne. He publishes and regularly lectures on arbitration, procedural law, and international private law.
