Emmanuel Abraye is a graduate of Niger Delta University, where he obtained his LLB degree with second-class honours (upper division). He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015.

Emmanuel worked in a couple of core litigation law firms in Lagos before joining Perchstone & Graeys in 2020. Since joining the firm, Emmanuel has proved to be valuable to the firm across many practice areas, including labour and employment, litigation, intellectual property, start-ups, and banking and finance, and continues to contribute immensely to the advancement of the cause of justice, and exceeding clients’ expectations through the provision of excellent, pragmatic, proactive, and innovative legal solutions.

Emmanuel is currently an intermediate senior associate, and leads the firm’s labour and employment practice group. He constantly aspires towards an active legal research and advocacy practice through which his training in substantive and procedural law can be put into both analytical and practical use, bringing to the fore his skills in research, advocacy, dispute resolution, team work, and information management, thereby enabling him to contribute to solving local and global legal problems. He is a member of the firm’s editorial team and contributes to the monthly and quarterly newsletters, which provide stimulation for readers globally.
