Felipe Serrano is a founding partner at Serrano Martinez, and focuses his practice on competition law, data privacy and corporate litigation. Before founding Serrano Martinez, Felipe was chief adviser and deputy head of Colombia’s antitrust agency.
He is adjunct professor of competition law at the Pontifical Xavierian University, the University of the Andes and Externado University, all based in Colombia. He was a member of the Expert Commission appointed by the President of Colombia in 2015 to reform Colombia’s antitrust leniency regime.
He has published papers in different law reviews and is a frequent speaker at national and international events related to his areas of practice. Felipe is admitted to practise in Colombia and the State of New York.
At Serrano Martinez, Felipe represents and advises major companies in competition law matters and commercial litigation cases, including clients in the oil and gas, retail, airline, ports, high tech and beverages sectors. Felipe has been recognised by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 for heading one of the leading competition practices in Colombia.
