Fernando Martínez Zuviría joined Allende & Brea after graduating magna cum laude from Universidad Austral in 2005. He attended the Academy of American and International Law at the Center for American and International Law, Texas, US, in 2007. In May 2012, he obtained a master’s degree (LLM) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, US, and worked as a foreign associate at Holland & Knight LLP law firm in Miami between 2012 and 2013. He was named a partner of the firm in 2019 and is a member of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires.

His practice focuses on the life sciences industry, assisting, among others, laboratories and medical devices companies on their daily operations in corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters. In particular, he advised clients in drafting and negotiating manufacture, license, collaboration, agency and distribution agreements, and in a number of local and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, divestitures, reorganisations and public tenders. He has conducted legal and regulatory due diligence, drafted and negotiated the acquisition agreements, and filed the relevant procedures with the National Administration of Drugs, Foods and Medical Devices (ANMAT) and with the Federal and Provincial Ministries of Health.
