Francesco Paolo Crocenzi is the founding partner of Studio Legale Crocenzi e Associati.
He obtained his degree in law maxima cum laude from the Luiss Guido Carli University of Rome, and holds an LLM on EU law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
advises international clients on Italian and EU laws applicable to asset management and investment services, and how to structure these activities in Italy, as well as on the marketing and listing of funds.
He is a member of the International Bar Association, and contributed as panellist at the IBA conferences on investment funds.
He published various contributions on the Italian securities regulations in newsletters, books and surveys, including Italian section of a multinational research made by Harvard University on the responsibilities related to the prospectus and the Italian chapter of the book International Securities Law and Regulation. Francesco regularly gives presentations on the developments in the Italian securities law at the French Association of Asset Managers (AFG-ASSFI). He wrote the Italian chapter of a multi-jurisdiction survey on the AIFMD published by the Oxford University Press in 2014 and for the 2010, 2016 and 2021 editions of Hedge Funds and the Law, published by Sweet & Maxwell.
