Franklin Cheluget Kosgei graduated from Kabarak University with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Second Class (Upper Division) in December 2015. In 2016, he attended the Kenya School of Law for a postgraduate diploma in law.
He joined the firm of TripleOKlaw Advocates as a pupil in 2017 where he undertook his articles of pupillage with the firm where he received extensive training in all areas of law, including training and extensive exposure in sports law and litigation related to the same. He received certification as a certified professional mediator in 2013. He is also an accredited mediator with the Mediation Accreditation Committee of Judiciary in Kenya. In this capacity, he handles mediation in the fields of commercial, civil, family and labour disputes. He is currently a finalist in the Certified Secretary Course with the Kenya Accountancy and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB).
Franklin has written and published widely, numbering to over a dozen publications. He also took part in research works in his undergraduate studies, which gave him continental recognition and awards. He also took part in oral and written moot court competitions, highlights being emerging the best oralist in Kenya in 2014 in the All Kenyan Moot Court Competitions and the eighth best oralist continentally in the All African Moot Court Competitions.
