Graham Dench is an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom (UK) LLP and is a member of the firm’s European corporate restructuring group. He has represented both creditors and debtors in complex, high-value domestic and cross-border restructurings, as well as investors in direct lending and rescue finance transactions.

His experience includes acting for the company in the restructuring of a Peruvian fishing business; the company in the restructuring of a Bermudan ILS fund; a group of funds as creditors in the insolvency of Marme; a monoline insurer in the restructuring of a UK project finance vehicle; a fund as creditor in the restructuring of APCOA; a fund in the distressed acquisition of a French steel producer; the lead creditor in the restructuring of ATU and the provision of additional post-closing finance; the security trustee in the restructuring of a UK media group; a fund in the provision of rescue finance to Codere; a fund in various direct lending arrangements; the bondholder committee in the restructuring of Belvedere; the bondholder committee in the liquidation of the Teksid group; the bondholder committee in the restructuring of Gallery Media; the principal shareholder in the restructuring of Treofan group; and the senior lenders in the restructuring of Visiocorp.
