Guilherme has more than 23 years of experience in competition law, advising clients on cartel investigations and unilateral conducts, as well as on mergers and compliance programmes. He served as general coordinator in the now extinct Secretariat of Economic Law (SDE) of the Ministry of Justice, where he conducted the first antitrust dawn raids and drafted the antitrust compliance guidelines (SDE Ordinance No. 14/2004).

Guilherme is also the director of competition at the Brazilian Antitrust Institute (IBRAC) and a member of the Competition Law Committee of the local Bar Association; a member of the Editorial Board of the Brazilian Antitrust Agency (CADE)’s Competition Law Review Editorial Board and acts as non-governmental adviser before the International Competition Network (ICN).
