Hiroko Yotsumoto is a partner at the Tokyo office of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. She practises primarily in the areas of M&A, corporate law and government relations. She also has expertise in matters related to space development, energy, and science and technology. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a government official at the Science and Technology Agency where she was engaged in national policymaking and legislative activities related to space development. She has advised the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and many other governmental agencies on various project matters. She received her LLB from the University of Tokyo in 1991 and her master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University in 1995.
