Ms Jaclyn Tsai is a co-founder of Lee, Tsai & Partners. Ms Tsai served as a judge for nine years before moving in-house to eventually become the general counsel of IBM Greater China Group. In 2013, Ms Tsai was appointed as the Minister without Portfolio in the Executive Yuan (Cabinet). During that time, she was responsible for a number of inter-ministry affairs, such as the reformation of laws relating to virtual world development, e-commerce, the sharing economy, digital convergence, the start-up environment, open data and data governance. Ms Tsai returned to the firm in 2016 while continuing to serve the community as a commissioner of the Smart City Committee and Data Governance Committee of the Taipei City Government. Ms Tsai is currently the chair of the Taiwan Women on Boards Association and Taiwan Fintech Association.
