James Ding Tse Wen is a partner at C H Tay & Partners (Kuala Lumpur), where he has acted mainly as counsel in litigation and arbitration matters for the past 15 years, particularly in construction disputes, and he sits as an adjudicator with the Asian International Arbitration Centre (formerly known as the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration).
James is a barrister-at-law (Lincoln’s Inn) and an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. He holds a master’s degree in law (international dispute resolution), with merit, from Queen Mary University of London, a master’s in law from the University of Malaya and a master’s in science in construction contract management from the University of Technology Malaysia. He is currently pursuing his PhD focusing on arbitration at the University of Malaya.
James holds fellowships at the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution, the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators and the Bali International Arbitration and Mediation Center.
