Jared Joyce-Schleimer is a partner in Kirkland’s New York office. Jared advises clients in financing matters relating to major energy and infrastructure projects at all stages of the project lifecycle. His practice has included representations of sponsors and lenders that are equally robust among development and construction financings, acquisition financings, refinancings and restructurings in domestic and cross-border transactions across the energy and power, satellite and telecom, and transportation industries. His practice includes a focus on renewable power and sustainable infrastructure. He also has significant restructuring experience representing debtors and creditors, which he applies to assist clients in downside and distressed investment scenarios. He assists developing countries in bringing sustainable projects to market in his pro bono work. Jared received his JD cum laude from Georgetown Law, his MPP from Georgetown and his BS with honours from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina.
