Jin Ho Song is a senior attorney in Kim & Chang’s corporate practice. He is known for his deep expertise and experience with real estate transactions, construction and development projects, and integrated resorts. In addition to his expertise in real estate and construction sectors, Mr. Song has a leading M&A/private equity practice, having extensively advised both domestic and multinational clients on mergers & acquisitions, foreign direct investment, and private equity transactions. He is also known for his experience in a wide range of sectors ranging from strategic financing and financial services to gaming and automotive.

Mr. Song has successfully handled an extensive amount of real estate-related transactions, including commercial building acquisitions and dispositions, real estate development projects, commercial leases, acquisition financings, indirect real estate investments through various real estate investment vehicles (e.g., real estate funds, REITs, and PFVs), and other real estate and construction projects. 

Additionally, he has substantial experience in mergers & acquisitions, share and asset purchases, private equity investments, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and capital markets.

Also, Mr. Song has served as a defense counsel in disputes involving complex real estate transactions and mergers & acquisitions. 

He regularly counsels domestic and overseas clients in establishing companies, subsidiaries, and branches in Korea, and advises on indirect investment vehicles, as well as regulatory and compliance issues.

He is a frequent contributor to professional legal publications, focusing in particular on real estate and mergers & acquisitions. 

Mr. Song received his LL.M. from UCLA School of Law and his bachelor in law degree from the College of Law at Seoul National University. He graduated from the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea. 

He is a member of both the Korean bar and the New York bar.
